Guardian Article on Brewdog's Pub Expansion Abroad 13 years 1 month ago #1

Hi,

Saw this interesting article on Brewdog's international ambitions for it's pub venture. Wonder if they'd consider one here?

You'd think they'd start nearer to home than Sao Paulo or Stockholm. Any 'Equity Punks' want to start a campaign?

They have certainly mentioned Dublin in past lists of places they'd like to open in. I'm not surprised at Stockholm, though: Sweden is a huge market for them.

Myself and Stefanos (Beersiveknown) thought that the site of the Dublin brewing company would be perfect.
There is already a bar there, albeit it needs a bit of a dusting but it's right by Smithfield and the Luas, though footfall is not great.
Indeed there was a pub crawl involved at the time <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

I did mention the Messr Maguire's site to James Watts awhile back.

Why? We want more good bars, not just replace existing ones <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
