Anyone got any ideas for pubs/brewery's to visit in Scotland? Heading there for a few days. Going to check out Brewdogs pub in Edinburgh, but also heading to Glencoe, Isle of Skye & some other spots I can't remember..

There's a [i:33m98aq2]lot[/i:33m98aq2] going on in Scotland at the moment. Check the local CAMRA websites[/url:33m98aq2] for their local breweries and award-winning pubs.

Hi,

Was in Edinburgh before Christmas. Didn't get to many pubs but the Blue Blazer (off Bread street) is a nice spot. traditional type pub with a relaxed atmosphere and eclectic crowd. Gets some bad reviews on the net but maybe they don't like beer or whisky. About 6 ales on cask and a few more on tap. A big Whisky selection but I suppose your in Scotland so not a surprise.

Thanks All, Enjoyed a night in brewdog pub Edinburgh (they're quite happy to give out testers as well as pints) and tasted a few interesting local Cask beers on the Isle of Skye.
