On my way to Cobh today. Anyone know of a decent watering hole in the town....with craftbeer would be a stretch but I hope I'm wrong.

It's been a while but I remember a couple of nice pubs in the square (at least I think it's called the square), most of them named after ships (The Lusitania and The Mauritania). When I was there last the Titanic was uber-trendy and to be avoided.

Not sure about craft beer.

Ye think they would have picked names of ships that did not sink <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> ,are they all still trading or did any of them go under <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> .

Was on a visit on February and we quite enjoyed The Roaring Donkey, good music session on a Wednesday.

Nearest craft beer was in Cork which was a very pleasant train trip away.

*bump*

Heading down to Cobh in a couple of weeks for a match. Anyone know if the craft situation has gotten better? Nothing on BeoirFinder anyway.
