Wonder has the city centre reached saturation point with this kind of pub. Seems to be a simple formula: 10 or 12 craft beer taps, a couple of casks and €12 fancy chicken burgers and locate beside a third level institution if possible.[/quote:1xqmacpu]
I don't think so, only when they start opening near each other. At the moment they are quite spread out. Now your never too far away if you want to go for one after or before doing something else in the city

All these pubs all stocking the same stuff... hold on, that sounds strangely familiar.[/quote:3c1y112y]
In fairness the Black Sheep has 4 cask pumps to Against the Grains one which automatically makes it more interesting for me to call in.

I had thought Mulligans was the only place with more than one. Are they able to get enough variety of cask ale to keep them flowing ?[/quote:199b16qa]
I've never seen more than 2 in operation at any one time but I might have been unlucky! But they do have the 4 pumps and I'd love to have to make the choice!
That said every time I go there they have one that I haven't tried before!
Hopefully the brew dock will have a couple of cask offerings!
