Dublin Pub Guide 18 years 6 months ago #1

I was on the european beer guide and had a look at the guide to Dublin pubs. I thought it was good but needed a bit of updating so I did up a Google maps thing with my favourite pubs and a brief description. Link is here <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=e...64&z=14&om=1">maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&; ... &z=14&om=1
Let me know if you think I missed anything. Alot of my choices come down to my personal opinion, I'd often rather drink a Guinness in a cosy traditional sort of boozer rather than a Rochefort 10 in a crowded Porterhouse Central. I've tried to include pubs that do have a decent selection and also pubs which are are just nice, unfortunatly these rarely overlap. I've also tried to point out faults in even my favourite pubs (B&C, Kennedy's and the Lord Edward).

Also, if anyone can think of any purpose for this, other than wasting a bit of time in work, let me know.
Cheers

I'd recommend passing it on Ron for inclusion in his guide. He does have a request for help at the top of his page on Ireland.

Interestingly, the LVA have done up their own version at Pubtalk.ie[/url:u8kn6vrq].

I sent Ron over a shorter text version last week. He said he'll put it up when he gets the chance. I've updated it since and added a few more pubs and integrated it with the map since then. I might mail him the link for the updated map version.

Wow the pubtalk one is a lot more detailed than mine.
