Yep. Brewberry is the place I was trying to think of! It is located at

18 Rue du Port de Fer, 75005 (in the 5éme arrondissement).

It is not opened long, a couple of months maybe.

Another place I like is La Taverne de Cluny, 51 Rue de la Harpe, 75005 (near the Sorbonne) just south of the Seine. It has a solid (if small) beer selection at reasonable prices (reasonable for Paris, that is!).

There's a good draught selection in Au Trappiste (4 Rue Saint Denis). I have a soft spot for the Frog & Rosbif (116 rue St. Denis), though quality can be inconsistent to say the least. O'Neil (20 Rue des Canettes) isn't worth bothering about, though the food looks good.

Knut Albert has a positive reviw of Le Quincampe (78 Rue Quincampoix) here[/url:2zcz4nxw], and it's close to La Cave à Bulles (45 Rue Quincampoix), the city's best off licence, though both were closed when I was there last August.

Thanks Johns!!!
My friend is going to check them out, he said he has seen brewberry but forgot to actually go there. If if we could get craft beers for the same price as a regular paris beer price id be happy enough.

Beernut: they might have been closed as ive heard the french dont do much work for august!
