Afternoon Gents,

I'm going to be spending a few days in Belfast next week (never been before) - any recommendations pub-wise? As far as I can tell a good few pubs have Whitewater beers on tap - apart from these is there any gem I should be aware of?

Also, as Clotworthy Dobbin is as rare as hen's teeth here in Cork, I'd like to bring back a case or two - any advice on where I could/should purchase? I don't think I'll be able to fit in a trip to the brewery I'm afraid...

Sainsburys are no longer doing the 3 for £4 deal; expect to pay a [u:26602aao]mahoossive[/u:26602aao] £1.70 <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> or thereabouts per beer

Sainsburys actually change their prices during the week. I've seen the 3 for 4 offer several times during the week only to have it removed again if i'm in on Saturday.

I know it's not related to the original pub post but if you're in, try their own brand IPA. It's obviously a contract brew from somewhere but i think it's really good.

Marston's. I think it's a slightly stronger version of Old Empire, with the bonus of a brown glass bottle.
