O'hara's branching out in "Espain"? Not quite... 15 years 2 months ago #1

I just wandered by "O'hara's Irish Bar and Restaurant" in Barcelona ([url:21cnf0gr]http://www.nelso.com/es/place/237512/[/url:21cnf0gr]) and stopped in as a roasty O'hara's stout sounded like just the thing to remind me that I only have 2 more weeks before I'm home again.

The waiters had "O'hara's Irish Stout" T-shirts with the O'hara's logo on them and everything; imagine my surprise when the wait staff was confused by my order of a bottle of O'hara's stout. (The bar staff seemed to not realize that such a thing even existed although the owner obviously did as he blatantly ripped off the O'hara's logo and is using it to promote his business...) -They're not just wearing O'hara's tshirts either (if such a thing exists), the back of the shirts clearly say "O'hara's Irish Bar and Restaurant, Barcelona".

WAY down with this sort of thing!

There's definitely an amiable solution in here somewhere...

When you say amiable, you mean short of a cease-and-desist letter?

Any pics of the t-shirts?

I think he means they should stock o'haras if they're going to use the name. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
