I'll be over in Dublin shortly and have a packed itinerary of bars I'll be visiting - some I've been to many times, some are new to me as they've opened since I've last been over. Just wondering if there are any gems I've missed?

- Bull & Castle
- Gingerman (Franciscan Well)
- O'Neills
- O'Byrnes
- Against The Grain
- L Mulligan Grocer
- visit to drinkstore

Anything else in the centre or surrounds I've missed?
Also the beers I'll be looking out for on draught (cask rather than keg, if available) will be Trouble Brewing and Dungarvan as I haven't had either of their offerings.

That looks like the essentials to me. If you're passing, The Palace on Fleet Street is worth a look: nice pub and they sell Hooker. You could also stick your head into Bowe's at the other end of Fleet Street (junction with D'Olier Street) and browse their bottles. There won't be anything you can't get in the other beer specialists, though.

There's also Sin É on Ormond Quay. The rumour mill tells me they have a new version of Revolution Red, brewed by Trouble, on sale. And there's Pifko on Usher's Quay which does a tasty exclusive house ale (Pifko Premium) brewed at Franciscan Well.

Don't think there's any draught Dungarvan around Dublin at the moment, but if there is it'll be upstairs in the Bull & Castle. And cask Trouble Ór... I think its listing in the 2011 Good Beer Guide is somewhere on the axis between "good intentions" and "outright lying to the bloke from CAMRA on the phone".

Cask Helvick Gold (Dungarvan) was still on at Porterhouse Temple bar on Friday night. I had a good few of them after a bunch of TSB's on Cask.

We have casks on order from Porterhouse Temple Bar - should be delivered by this weekend but not sure when they'll be tapping them. Bull and Castle will also have a few on shortly.

Cheers for the replies guys - only cask upstairs at B&C on Sat night was the O'Hara's Leann Follain - which was grand!

Amazed at the bottle choice in drinkstore.ie - but totally forgot to mention Beoir for a possible discount, bummer! L Mullingans bottle selection also v. impressive, lots there that's not available anywhere in England.

Will be checking out Porterhouse for draught Helvick Gold today or tomorrow.

O'Neills and Against The Grain are the main targets for today but will make a note of the others - been to Sin E a few times on previous trips but will check out if they have the new house red on.
