there were posters up for O'Haras in O'Neills. No price on them though <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt=":roll:" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->

To put it into context for us country folk: what price do they charge for other stouts?

pint of Guinness in O'Neills is €4.70...another rip off

That's about normal for central Dublin, though, isn't it?

My pint bottle of Guinness in O'Neill's today cost €5.20, which I thought pretty steep. Specialist market, I suppose.

nah €4.70 is steep for a regular pub. Even Grogans is about €4.50 and thats always been a bit more expensive than most regular pubs (worth it though cos its a fantastic pub)

O'Neill's is a touristy superpub, so I'd expect prices comparable to The Bank, The Long Hall, McTurkel's and Messrs Maguire, rather than a nice pub like Grogan's.
