Oddbins on Baggot Street? 18 years 8 months ago #1

Has anyone been in recently? Ive never been to the one on Baggor St. I noticed Hendrixcat saying he picked up Little Creatures Pale Ale in the one in Blanch which closed recently. just wondering has anyone come across it on Baggot St. or any unusual ones? Feedback would be great

I haven't been in there in a couple of years, but I know it used to have a fair selection of nice beers.

Nothing like any of the better bottle shops around, but you can sometimes find the odd gem.

This is the place where I first encountered Deuchars IPA (back when it actually tasted like an IPA) and my better half had me getting her Liefmans Kriek there.

Can't vouch for Baggot St as haven't had time to get over that way, but have just been to their Dollymount branch. No gems unfortunately, but I asked the guy behind the counter about Little Creatures Pale Ale and they normally have it but was o.o.s. on my visit. Didn't think of asking if it was just his branch or the chain, but might be worth visiting B.St as they used to have some goodies years ago.
