This was mentioned before, alright.
It's a great idea, but I think if you limit it to Irish craft beers in pubs for starters then it becomes a manageable project. Even if it's something as basic as a list for now, at least the info would be there; then Barry can add his magic touches when he gets back.
In fact, Séan's article on Irish craft beer producers has a lot of the work done.

If people want to post here, or pm me with names and addresses of pubs, and which beers they serve I can put together an article with a simple list.

A wiki might be the most suitable tool for this, as it is likely to be dynamic at times, and it would save bugging Sean (sorry, I can NEVER work out how to do the fada!) and Barry to "add this, remove that" etc.

<AltGr>

A wiki is possibly the way to go, but to get the ball rolling, if people just post here, then we can compile a list.
(Then we can lob it onto Adeptus' lap when he comes back, and leave him sort it out!)

Right, well, confirmed sightings in Dublin are:
The Porterhouse, 16-18 Parliament Street, D2
Porterhouse Central, 45-47 Nassau St , D2
Porterhouse North, Cross Guns Bridge, Glasnevin, D9
Messrs Maguire, 1-2 Burgh Quay, D2
The Gingerman, 39-40 Fenian Street, D2
The Bull & Castle, Christ Church, D2
Ely CHQ, Custom House Quay, D1

Galway Hooker is due to arrive soon at Dice Bar (78 Queen Street, D7) and Sin É (14-15 Ormond Quay, D1), but I don't think that's happened yet.

I'm missing non-Porterhouse pubs that sell Temple Brau. I think The Temple Bar (48 Temple Bar, D2) is one, but I'm not sure.

Solas (31 Wexford Street, D2) has a tap marked "Solas Lite": anyone know what this is? The name doesn't sound too promising.

For Wicklow, the list starts with:
The Porterhouse, Strand Road Bray.
It may well end there...

Great. So are we going to list which beers each pub stocks? I think this would be good, especially for the non-brew pubs, so people know exactly what's available, and where.

The review section was intended to be fairly dynamic. Basically, someone adds a bar to the list with a basic description, some key features etc, then anyone else can add a review of that bar. This review can have a text section (so maybe updates of what beers are in stock so we can see change over time), some yes/no type fields (like do they stock Irish craft beers), some ratings etc. This builds up to an overall rating of the bar. If people want to suggest fields for bar reviews let me know! In fact, I'll create a thread for this on the site feedback forum.
