They don't really have one from what I can see. Though they can be mildly entertaining.

I came across one on Shop Street years ago playing random notes on a tin whistle under the auspices of busking. I gave him 10p and said to him "you haven't a notion how to play, do you?", to which he answered "nope" and continued.
