The John Hewett is a nice spot. Very friendly staff and they will offer you advice on where to go and possibly, if the staff have been there lately, what might be on tap.
The Kitchen and the Garret I think are very close to each other. I was drunk so not sure but there is a pub in the shopping centre and one just outside the back entrance.

try www.camrani.org.uk/ or get in touch with the breweries as to where and what they have on tap as not to waste time heading to one place if it's got the same selection.

I just saw you only have a few hours...John Hewitt or the crown but you could swing by another on the way from one to dother.

That's the one. Small place. They had a good selection of bottles that day although the cask was not on.

I'd recommend anyone try a Wetherspoon's.

I was in one a few weeks ago: 10 real ales on pumps priced between £1.50 and £2.50.

Food is spectacular value: had a chicken madras, pilau rice, nan, poppadoms and a pint or real ale for £5.69.

First pint upon arrival back in Dublin was Paulaner in the Harbourmaster for €6 a pint! ... and that didn't include any food!

I have dinner sorted, my other half got us a free night in the Fitzwilliam hotel with dinner and breakfast so all I'll be thinkng about spending money on is beer , will have about 5 hours on my own so will defo try a few pubs. I might stay away from the Weatherspoons, I like good old pubs but if all else fails
