Prague...again 15 years 9 months ago #1

Heading to Prague in August..I thought I spotted that someone had stayed in a pub but after some searching I cant find anything on the site.

I am a bit lazy and tired this week so if anyone has any suggestions of a nice spot near a pub or in a pub or on top of a pub that would be great or actually any other interesting pubs in Prague.

Ta.

You must go to the golden tiger -U zlateho tygra in the old town ,Or try going out to the suburbs on the metro and you will find loads of non tourist bars at cheap prices

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.usadlu.cz/emenu.html">www.usadlu.cz/emenu.html is really nice, although probably better in the winter when it's cold out as it's nice and toasty inside. there's a review for Pivovarsky Dum on ICB and I'd agree with them that it's well worth a stop. www.gastroinfo.cz/pivodum/index.php?content=uvod&lang=eng">www.gastroinfo.cz/pivodum/index. ... d&lang=eng . Try and stay away from the pubs right smack in the middle of the tourist hub as you won't get the full experience, there's a nice little place down by the National Theatre that has OK beer but an amazing view of the castle, can't remember the name of it but look for the place where all of the paddle boats come from. Also, the 'nakladeny hermelin' cheese is a must, pickled cheese which doesn't sound very appealing but is amazing with a nice pint of Pilsner. Enjoy!
