Home bar 16 years 1 week ago #1

Just wondering how many people have or a planning to have a bar in their house. My brother has a second sitting room in his house in Kildare and he has turned it into a bar and games room, complete with a couple of draft taps, some bar signage, pool table and a dart board. He got the taps an bar stuff from a local publican who had spare stuff.

I have but its in my kitchen. I think Dr Jacoby is the only person to have visited my house from ICB and that was a flying visit so no beer served.

Yeah, I'm planning it, doing a build at the moment (all timber)and I put a space under the house (suspended timber floors), it makes wiring and plumbing easier if a person can easily fit under there, so for a few extra blocks it now takes a cornie with top fittings, It could take lots, so I'll have cellar temp beers and an acess hatch for changing, the missus sugested a bar counter somewhere with taps and an undercounter fridge, and a few high stools, top girl

Yea, that was a pity. Would have loved a nice beer on tap. If I get a house at the end of the summer a bar is defintely a priority, just behind a new shed brewery with bells and whistles <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->
