Might be headin over next week for a gig if i can get the days off. But my mates are headin so i said i'd do a bit of research. Anyone been any places to recommend? Cheers in advance lads!!

I strongly recommend Päffgen. Malzmühle is nice also. Früh am Dom, though not a brewery, has good beer and isn't as tourist-trappy as you might think. Then there's Freischeim's and Biermuseum for when you've had enough kölsch.

For general night life, I seem to remember Heumarkt, Barbarossa Platz and Zulpicher Platz to be lively enough. Conveniently with a beer mapping location near each of them.

Love Cologne
Went there for my stag 2 years ago. Good Karaoke in the Irish Pub downstairs on one of the squares Altermarkt I think, The Corkonian i think, darts and pool table also.
Craft Beer?? I wasn't in to it back then, but loved the Kolsch.
