It appears that Dampfbier is not actaully one of their offerings.

They mention that their Dunkel and their Helles are untergäriges Vollbier (bottom fermented) so it's not Dampfbier. They probably just use the name because the unfiltered beer looks cloudy. They might not even be aware of the pretty obscure historical style that is Dampfbier.

I'd imagine as a German Braumeister they'd take your guilds card away if you didn't know that one.

Even if they don't have Dampfbier, still beats the hell out of Heineken. And it seems to be only a short stroll away from our hotel. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> Thanks for the help!

You'll just have to make do with naturally brewed, unfiltered, unpasteurised beer I suppose.
