thats funny, i was in zaytoon for a bit too, although it was earlier - had a few in the PH then zaytoon and back to PH. was on the 12:30 luas home.
can't imagine Sean was able to work after all those beers.....

what did the manager say about us being from the website? did he seem interested in it or did he think we were sad wierdos?? did anyone mention the galway hooker to him at all?

He was interested. He wanted to tell us about the place and his plans and took contact information.

Apparently they will be featuring a cask conditioned Bock soon, but he wouldn't tell us who was brewing it. I managed to get him to confirm that it will be brewed in Dublin, so it doesn't take a genius to work out where it will be brewed.

Nice to meet you all for a few beers. I hope we can make it a regular thing. Maybe we should fix it for one Friday a month. It might avoid confusion. I think the Assistant Manager was happy to talk to guys who shared an interest in decent beer. I thought it was no harm to let him know who we were! He sounded like the type of guy that was genuinely interested in our opinion (and business, of course). Just thinking this morning, perhaps the B&C would be a place which might let us meet up and share out our own stuff, if we throw enough business their way anyway. Perhaps the manager would be interested in testing what we can produce at home also. They may have a little section that they could block off for an hour or 2 for us, and then once our own stuff runs out we would inevitably buy a rake load more anyway.

And yeah DrJ it'd be cool to make it a monthly event indeed.
