Marks & Spencer India Pale Ale 17 years 5 months ago #1

Got a bottle of India Pale Ale in Marks & Spencer today.

On the label it says it is brewed in Burton on Trent and according to Beer Advocate it is a Marstons creation. Will report my findings tonight or tomorrow.

Jervis Centre. Near the wine.

They keep moving it in there. It was gone completely when I was in last week. I wonder is this another[/url:2dzrfjeu] nearly-expired surplus-to-the-UK lines?

The Jervis Street and Mary Street ones are the same, right?

I was in the Grafton Street one last week, remembered something I'd read about MM doing a stout or a porter for them and made a beeline for the section under a huge sign that reads WINE, BEER, SPIRITS.

But, yep, only wine <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

I asked them about it, got alot of stratching of heads about the sign, and was told to try the Mary Street branch.

I didn't bother.

Carlow make their Irish Stout. O'Hara's is better, cheaper and more available.
