On a recent visit to Dunnes Stores in the Bridgewater Center in Arklow I was delighted to see bottles of Chimay Red beckoning. I wanted to try this for quite a while so I sampled a few and was not dissapointed...very nice indeed but quite heavy after a few. A little pricey at €2.86 for 330ml bottle, but it didn't stop me returning on a couple of occasions for more.
It inspired me to brew a Belgian dubbel which is now bottled and conditioning.

Its been in a few of the lager Dublin one for the last couple of years

Dunnes in Carlow have had a refit and seem to be expanding their range of beers. Will call over tomorrow and see if they have anything new. Dunnes in Kilkenny had a better range in the past.
Bearing in mind that Dunnes do the odd 25% off or back on your loyalty card it's worth keeping an eye on them. Especially now that they have Pilsner Urquell too.<!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Dunnes haven't restocked.
Lazy buggers.
From the shelf edge lables they won't have anything very new or exciting. Imagine that!
