i was there a few months ago, still been contracted brewer and they had changes their stout to a hefe. alright wheat beer but not a hefe, i suspect they were using a dry wheat yeast

just missing a beer festival by one day. the bierhaus in cork is always a good spot to meet people and get some good brews
talk to dave the owner, he'll recommend anything good/new he has and may point you in the direction of the abbot's ale house, it is by far the best off-licence in cork.
