Mc Hugh's on Kilbarrack Road have Brew Moon Dark Side Stout. It's an unusually large bottle at 640ml, perhaps a New Zealand units conversion thing. I hope it's rich in the same way that their pale ale in hoppy.

I live about 10 miles from the Brew Moon Cafe and in 5 years here I've never seen the place open!

I tried the stout recently and thought it was nice. Quite smooth texture, chocolatey with a slightly sweet finish. I also picked up their IPA. Whether my tastebuds have changed I don't know but I enjoyed this the last time I tried it. This time I wasn't keen, the hop flavour was dull and a little musty, maybe it was a dodgy bottle.
