Porterhouse has jumped on the €5 cask wagon. Their new Yippy IPA was tasting great at the weekend in Temple Bar.

Sweetmans porter is good but I inevitably try their seasonal when I'm in there and they haven't blown me away anytime recently.

Being blown away generally costs more than JWS charges.

True, better value to be found in Porterhouse though. Plus Porterhouse do the loyalty card which in effect is a 10% discount on pints.

Shakespeare's own lager (attached to the Korean restaurant called Hophouse on Parnell St.) is a Rye River rebadge, I'm pretty certain.

At €4 a pint, it's in the running for cheapest craft in city centre.

Sounds great, I'll make sure to hop there when I'll be in Dublin, probably in 6 months.
Key question: what kind of luxurious, respectable establishment would you recommend when you're hungry as a wolf after a couple pints and it's already too late for usual restaurants? Do you guys have kebab joints for this like we do on the continent?
