On the way home from Cobh on Sunday we popped in to Midleton for a bite to eat and a nice pint in The Mad Monk.
As I approached my spidey sense started tingling it has been renamed Mollys
On enquiring what beers they had the young woman behind the bar told me "we have all the good ones" then said oh wait you are looking for the other ones, sorry! The pub was taken over about 6 months ago and the new owners got rid of them.
The kitchen was closed also but I didn't have the interest to ask whether it was permanent or temporary.
I guess it can be removed from the directory
