Can confirm that Tilt is excellent, 8 kegs, decent coffee, cakes & pinball machines - london prices though

PO vaults has some great beers in bottle at moment including Amager - again pricey

Craven Arms is a must, We really enjoyed the Anchor too, just slightly out of the centre in Digbeth - 10mins from Bullring

Another vote for the Wellington here - a great cask pub, right in the centre of Brum too.

Didn't get out nearly as much as I'd have liked to (I was there to talk IT nerd stuff), but I did get to BrewDog and the PO Vaults. Neither disappointed, and so handy from the train station that I feel a (€9.99 each way) day trip coming on. If the wind is blowing in the right direction (easterly) it's only 25 minutes in the air.
