Vienna is terrible for good beer according to maja who was there 2 weeks ago. They have one brewpub thats top of ratebeer for vienna and their beers were oxidised, bad food and no specials.

1516? I really liked it last time I was there: it's great for American-style beers. I like 7 Stern too, but their beers can be hit and miss. Usually plenty to try, though.

Lots of options for Bratislava on Ratebeer[/url:1rypz2l9]. As well as the craft beer pubs it's possible to find Pilsner Urquell and Zlatý Bažant on tankovna at few places, including Beer Palace[/url:1rypz2l9].

I'd heard that 7 Stern's bottles were badly oxidised, but I've never tried them, and never had that problem with the draught. The hemp beer is one of the best examples of its style I've ever had. Their chilli beer is nice too, if you like chilli in beer.

I enjoyed 7 stern, though food better than beers. Not so much oxidized as grainy and dull. Some were good though
