Thats a good deal in the Derry Spoons. I hope they continue more deals down here. You have way more better choices up the north for cask. You also have Hilden and Whitewater breweries who have really great ales. Unfortunately we rarely get Hilden and never Whitewater casks in Derry.

Recently Wetherspoons have done some deal which means as well as Abbot Ale they always stock either London Pride, Doom Bar or Broadside. Because of this there's normally only 1 alternative option in the Ice Wharf and either 2 or 3 in the Diamond. The American craft beers they're getting brewed over here are great though, really enjoying them.

Thats a shame no Hilden or Whitewater that often. You never see them down here only at the craft ale festival and thats once a year. Abbot Ale is nice on cask so is London Pride. I hope they bring them down to the Spoons here. Yes i have tried the American craft here on draft if they are the same ones i think they are pretty good. I had a couple of nice pints. I must pop up to them bars in Derry and try them out.

Just in spoons now for a prematch pint and wouldn't you know, they have Hilden on cask. And a bottle of the same beer costs £3.40 across the road.
