just want to comment on Brewdock bar. I was in there this evening and i was charged €6.75 for a cask of the Great Alphonso. Its on cask in Mulligans right now for €5.80 and in Porterhouse for €6. No reason for brewdock to be overcharging so much for this cask other than just making a profit.

Making a profit is the sole reason for Brew Dock existing, they are a business. Nobody is forced to pay €6.75 for a pint, as you say it's available cheaper elsewhere so people can vote with their wallets and drink elsewhere. The price is what people will pay, if Brew Dock can charge more and people still pay it then of course they will.

If price is important to you, just grab a pint of the Table Beer for only €4. Excellent value for money. €3.50 with Beoir vouchers <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

But it's still a shocking price, thanks for the heads up on the cheaper options in Porterhouse and Mulligans.

I was refused the Beoir voucher on the table beer in brewdock,
even though the voucher said valid for galway bay beers? Bar man insisted its not on that one

im more interested in just been charged a fair price i know i can let my wallet do the talking but they are still ripping customers off. I tried to use my Beoir vouchers with the table beer but they wont accept them. He is very good value if i could have used the vouchers i agree.

No problem for the heads up on cheaper prices just trying to save members here a few quid when out on the town looking for casks.
