Will be heading to Sheffield in the near future for a few nights.
Any tips on pubs to visit? Any brewery tours in the area?

Hi Maf. Sheffield is a beer ticker's paradise. If you get a chance, check out The Devonshire Cat (with 12 real ale hand pumps), Harlequin (with 13), Fat Cat (with 12), and the ex-CAMRA pub of the year The Kelham Island Tavern (with 13). Don't miss The Sheffield Tap at the train station. It has 11 hand pumps, 4 of which are brewed in-house. The brew kit can be viewed down the back.

The Sheffield Tap[/url:pjb6xiq9] and Kelham Island Tavern[/url:pjb6xiq9] spring immediately to mind. Thornbridge owns a rake of pubs[/url:pjb6xiq9] around there too.
