Heading to Munich on Sunday for 5 days for Christmas markets and beer drinking. Any tips on places to go?

This place[/url:368q3nnn] has just opened. Looks unmissable. Apart from that: Schneider Weisses Bräuhaus and the various kellers you'll find on any tourist map.

Definitely check out the Schneider Weiss restaurant, ask for a bottle of 'Tap X', their seasonal special.

After you've been to Hofbrau there's a nice Augustiner bar across the square from it.

Can't help much else as I was there during the summer so spent most of it in the beer gardens. Wouldn't fancy that this time of year.

It'll be plenty Aventinus Eisbock for me, I'd say. Although I'm not sure how long I'll last with an IV line of that...

2 places i visited last month i enjoyed are
Wirtshaus Ayingers and Andechser am Dom. Youll have to google for there location but there very central.
Also the Weisses brauhaus is great and although extremely touristy if you havent been to the Hofbrauhaus you should drop in for a drink.
There is Augustiner places all over, there all pretty decent.
Dont think you can go very wrong in munich, great city.
