Old PC and parts 18 years 7 months ago #1

Ok, I'm a reformed geek and modder, and I need to clear some space, so I have an old PC that is looking for a good home. It's be good for someone wanting to mess about with a Linux distro, or maybe turning it into a berwery controller

It's an Athlon 800 with I think 256MB RAM, a CD burner, and a decent graphics card. Comes with a keyboard.

There's also a bunch of cables/parts and a wireless mouse that someone can take away.

Totally not beer related, but it could be!

I heard about that you throw grains and hops with some water and yeast and 4 seconds later BEER

Also you can use the fan to make a stirrer plate

Yeah, I know about that one. I have a few fans that I bought for a machine I built, then took them out because I went for water cooling to make the machine even quieter (the latter didn't work as well as I wanted), so a stirrer plate is something I'd certainly like to make. I must look and see how many I have. They're not expensive. Don;t know where you get the strong earth magnets you also need for the plates though.
