New beer this week

Sierra Nevada Harvest Fresh Hop Ale 2009 (very limited)710ml 6.7% @€7.95

Sierra Nevada Kellerweis 350ml 4.8% @€3.50

Victory Prima Pils 355ml 5.3% @€3.50

Victory Golden Monkey 355ml 9% @€3.95

Chocolate Tom 330ml 6% @€3.50

I think i read somewhere that the sierra nevada is an estate beer with all the ingredients grown in house, the first in america in modern times. it was in BYO magazine i think

yep, they are growing and malting the barely and hops


Also their new hefe is supposed to bee good and it replace the American wheat.

You guys are confusing this with the SN Chico Estate - that's the homegrown one.

Drinkstore looks to have (from the photo) the Southern Hemisphere, wherein SN actually goes to the trouble of flying fresh hops from New Zealand to California.

I had the Harvest Wet Hop (the 3rd in the series) back in February and it was pretty darn tasty, so if this is at all similar, it should be special.

Yes it's the Sothern Hemisphere Harvest - I picked up a couple of bottles today so I'll report back.
