Drink Store is carrying Odells! YES!

Good stuff guys, definitely been missing that stuff since my visit to the brewery 2 years ago; tastes and smells can transport you back to a place better than anything I find. This will be a cheap "trip back to Denver" for me.

(See if you can't pressure the distributor/importer to get some of Odell's limited release stuff; the "Oak Cut" series is legend. The original version has to be the most heavily oaked beer EVER. They use brand new American oak barrels that they had made for them; it's pretty potent and delicious stuff.)

That's what I'm drinking right now. A very nice beer.

And now I'm onto the Hardcore IPA

I now have some Goose Island Sofie chilling in the fridge, so looking forward to that this evening, as have never really tried anything in this style, so maybe I have been missing out. Also some Odells and various other American ales. I always think these are going to last me ages, but they never do.

I got me a few new Geuze the other day. I got the Punk IPA for the wife and tried out the 5Am saint. I have to admit the punk was too much for me but the wife loved it. The saint was very nice, not sure what the hops were but it was reminiscent of blackcurrant.
