Hello, Been a member for a few months now and have enjoyed reading all the advice and debates on the various forums. Haven't posted before so here's the first one, hopefully of many.

I'm based in Dublin and just started out brewing with kits recently, enjoying even the very average results I've gotten so far.. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
Will try to move away from kits in the new year and get more into this brewing malarky. No doubt i'll have plenty of questions for ye all then..

It's getting quiet in here as Christmas approaches. I know I'll be silent over the holidays as I travel to Germany on Monday. So I'll also take this oppertunity to wish all ICBers a happy holiday and the very best in 2008.

I would like to concur with Adeptus's comments. I am away from here for next two weeks - two weeks in the sticks away from a pc!!!! Have a great yule everyone and hope to meet some of my non Cork comrades in the year ahead! Thanks again Sean and Barry for a great site!

Well, I'm in the broadband-enabled sticks for the next few days, so I'll be around, but I'd like to echo Ger's sentiments: happy Crimble to the management, brewers, and my fellow sponges.

My Dad has laid in a supply of San Miguel for the festive period, so I'm very glad I brought a stash of O'Hara's and MM Porter up with me.
