Impossible task? 13 years 2 months ago #1

Folks,
I have a 50th party in the house on 12th April...
My wife has suggested I come up with some sort of special drink/brew for the occasion <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->
Any recommendations of what could be possible at this stage?
The 50th is a lady (not the wife) who likes lager and wine (I guess)...
I am thinking some sort of sweet, carbonated, highly impressive, concoction that ladies like...

Let me know what ye think...

I have made a few extract brews - no all grain yet.
Also I have a couple of bottles of mead in storage... it's not very good - was an experiment with 2 types of yeast - ale and champagne - may be able to do something with these?

I find when introducing people to home brewed beers is do it right or don't do it at all. A rushed brew will turn people off. With a bit more time id say go for it but with the time frame your dealing with a nice collection for craft beers for me would be the way to go. You just cant rush these things.
Ps never share mead. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
