I heard the day went off without a hitch, really annoyed I couldnt be there but chuffed with our third place in the stout catagory.

Well don't to everyone involves and hats off to the organisers, stewards and judges for setting a great bench mark for Irish Homebrew comps!!

I know this will come across as me tooting my own horn, well let's face it, I am
Only 5 beers got 44/50, which was the highest score. Mine was one of them. Just sayin

For anyone interested, If you tasted my other entry, the Imperial Amber that did not ferment all the way, that got 31 and I said on the entry that it was flawed. Be curious to see what the judges have to say when I get the feedback sheet.

I got a mention on this thread as did Will, better add RichieH to the list, as well Richard: Keeganales.

Both of them got first prize in their categories.

And a big well done to NHC organisers. I was watching them from 1PM and they were run off their feet but everything was going smoothly. Results were a little over an hour late but I expected that and the fact it was only a little over an hour late is testament to the good work.

Had a great day. Some amount of organising gone into it. Fair play to all involved

Well done to the organisers and the winners.

My one and only entry got at score of 34 which I am very happy with. That makes it a commercially acceptable product going by their scoring system
