Have to disagree with you there I think its a clever play on Brew, and also has the Irish connotation, never mind the name lets see what it tastes like.

Have to disagrre there - Breo was very tasty and ahead of its time.
We now have plenty of German Weissens and Curim to enjoy.

OT - With Paulaner, Erdinger and now Franzikaner all appearing in bars I'm suprised Diageo haven't taken a wheat beer on board, whether their own or a foreign one.

It's apparently company policy to not launch new products unless they're tied to an existing brand. While you can just about see how Guinness Black Lager and Smithwick's Pale Ale fit, where do you put a wheat beer?
