I started subscribing to it a few months ago and I'm impressed so far. I've been in AHA for several years but found that most of Zymurgy was going unread since I wasn't interested in most of the AHA-related stuff.

I've found the BYO articles to me generally more interesting than Zymurgy ones. For example, there is a very interesting article in the current (Dec) edition about "reiterated mashing". It is a method of brewing high gravity all-grain beers but I was interested in the apparent water-treatment and efficiency benefits since I'm now living in a hard water area.

Cheers, Les

i got the free offer ages ago before i went a bit more hardcore ...it was good but at the time it didnt suit...no strings attatched offer of a free trial turned out to be a false dawn...they hounded me to pay the subscription after telling them i didnt want it within the required time....letter after letter arrrived at the door with the threath of action being taken...so i eventually sent an email telling them id have my lawyer after them....of course i dont have one but it took a long time for them to get the message...SO BEWARE Icb-bies
