thinking about it more the following spring to mind
water softener (stops dirty glasses and plates)
extraction fan systems
some moderen kitchens i have been in have a fire suppression system called ansul i think that is built into the canapoy above cookers and fryiers and automatically sprays foam onto a big fire
most seem to just have a normall slection of fire extinguishers including a special one for fryier oil fires and fire blankets
some need a shutter system to seperate kitchen from floor in event of a fire
