Horses for courses, I made a decision a few years back to use what is effectively my real name, just cut short, not everyone is as happy putting their name to their insane witterings online.
I do find that it keeps me more level headed in discussions and I tend to keep my opinion to stuff that I'd stand behind in a court of law also as a result

Simpsons reference - the mostly manliest man name there is!
Yeah I went for my real name but I assumed "Mike" would be gone, then I went for Mikeymoo - which is fine on the internet but at the RDS when Oblivion introduced himself as "Hi, I'm on Beoir.org, my screen name is Oblivion..." I felt like a bit of a sissy when I said "Oh yeah, hey, I'm Mikeymoo".
Maybe I should embrace it at this stage and just finish off every post with an x.

I've been a Spud since I was born and proud of it, it's my chosen username on any forum I use (7-8 different ones)
It's part of who I am.
If my posts seem to be the ramblings of a maniac, thats nothing to do with my username
Everyone to their own I guess
