Settle for 18 hours ??

It would not survive that long in an Irish fridge !!

Thornbridge have been using those for about 2 years. Jaipur still tastes good.

I've had both thornbridge jaipur and kipling in these 'minicasks', really nice beers, very low carbonation, almost too low! And both those were really loaded with yeast for those looking to harvest some!

Methinks that 'minicask' implies NO carbonation at above 1 bar (at sea level).

Its cask conditioned so the only CO2 is whats disolved in the beer during fermentation and conditioning.

If I'm going for a pint with a non craft beer head, if they ask me what the cask does... I say the difference is like the difference between fizzy orange and orange squash.
Cask being the orange squash.
