Anybody help me here? what kind of license would i need to import and distribute beer in Ireland? I think you would be looking at a Wholesale Dealers Licence.

Yes - you need a wholesaler licence. That's not too difficult or expensive to acquire. It does have restrictions (minimum unit size etc), but nothing to stop genuine wholesale use. If you want to suspend duty in a bonded warehouse, that's a whole different kettle of fish....

I heard that bonded warehouses can really increase the cost of these sort of endeavours. Same goes for brewing and selling your own.
