I'm doing a part time business course (ahead of a likely redundancy later this year) and we're required to do a project- mine is on Craft Beer in Ireland. The survey below forms part of the market research module.

I'd recommend changing "Lager/Beer/Stout" to "Lager/Ale/Stout". It looks a bit weird.

Your absolutly right - I was thinking of putting a note about that on the original post.

My preference was just for 'Craft Beer' but nearly everyone on the couse was confused by this assuming that the term 'beer' only applied to Smithwicks! I'm based in Mayo and Beer just means Smithwicks to most people around here. The idea of going with Larger/Beer/Stout in the survey was to avoid this confusion.

It is a bit embarrasing though when I show the survey to someone who knows their beer-

Also.. question 5; Brain blasta isnt stout.
And your results might be a bit skewed if you get a lot of people from here answering the survey - but i think you have a question in there that might identify people like us <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

You're spot on James- problem was the survey ran over 10 questions which means you have to pay surveymonkey. To avoid this I used the course coordinator's account but there were a few transcription errors from the (badly) handwritten questions I gave him, to the survey he typed up. <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->
