There's something that just screams "high quality craft" with the Kernel brewery's simple labels; I really like those minimalist labels (and their beers).

Couldn't agree more. I actually grabbed a few of the labels the first time I was there, but my son ended up putting them on his bedroom wall.

I heard that Bradleys got some Nøgne Imperial stout today so I'm gonna add some to my beer list for christmas. And while I was at the Abbott yesterday, I also grabbed a few more things from Rogue, a %$£%$ expensive Sam Adams triple bock, the 8º winter ale and a few others… I guess I'll save the wine I had already for later and cancel my brewing plans that week <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I have a couple of Christmas ales left, I succumbed to the others over the past few weeks:-

8 Degrees' 'A Winter's Ale'
Delerium Tremens Christmas ale

Last night I tried Brewdog's 'There is no Santa' and was pretty amazed - totally not what I expected from a Brewdog offering... Probably the mildest and most desert-like of all the Christmas ales I've tried so far (Goose Island, Anchor etc).
