I remember the days of No. 1 Brew; a mediocre lager brewed by someone "who knew nothing about brewing" and trying to compete against the Buds of this world. It was doomed to failure, although as a previous poster said "hindsight is 20-20 vision".

I do have a No. 1 Brew bottle opener though <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

He was Vice President of Smirnoff's world-wide marketing, so had access to world wide tends in drink markets and if he wanted an inside track to the rise of the US craft beer movement
