I expected Mitch Benn to pop up and start singing the names of all the good beers at any moment.

That would be Jupiter from the planets by Gustav Holst. An English composer but someone has arranged that version for maximum lump in the throatness.[/quote:25jgmwyk]

Holst, don't think he was English though, think he just composed for the English court. Open to correction though. Mars Bringer of War is fab!

I think his Da was Swedish or something like that. Fairly sure he was good mates with Vaughan Williams too. They loved the old sea shanties and folk music over a pint no doubt. He was knocking round the beginning of the 1900's so it would have been a good time for ale! It does the trick either way!

Holst was born in Cheltenham and worked in England all his life.

Jupiter's a wonderful piece but way too much of a cliché for things like this. You just can't use it after somebody did this[/url:bd0nckcv] with it.

Holst is a regular on my stereo probably mostly because my son has a planet fixation recently. Mercury is my favourite, for what it's worth <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Aww, I can't watch the from here TBN! And you're right, it's very cliché.

[size=85:3h1me4id]Went to the NCH a few years ago where they played the Planets while showing footage from Voyager, with commentary from Leo Enright. That was cool (as was the first half where it was music from Star Wars, but I digress).[/size:3h1me4id]
