Seems a rather inelegant and some what hamfisted definition, it would classify all sorts of things as adjuncts, copper finings, campden tablets, brewing salts, elderflowers, vanilla essence etc.
If you use the definition that im familar with these would be additives not adjuncts as they don't require mashing which certainly to me makes more sense.
I suppose you could define the addition of simple sugars as 'copper adjuncts' as oblivious has helpfully suggested, whether that makes them technically adjuncts or not is another matter though.
Regardless of that though since honey is added for flavour and isn't a 'simple sugar' used merely to raise gravity it becomes an additive, certainly thats what the national honey board (USA) term it as when used in brewing.
