Hi all, I'm hoping someone has done this before and has a solution. I want to send some beers over to a mate in the UK for Xmas, the problem is that most of the courier companies won't accept beer or liquids. Have any of you sent bottles to the UK before and if so how did you do it?

An post but the cost is just mental, 2 bottles cost me 18 euro before, more bottle make it more reasonable, I priced some of the courriers I use for work and they were worse.
I've one bottle to send this weekend. Bubblewrap is your friend.

I think I'm just going to courier it and not admit to them that the parcel contains alcohol or liquid, both of which they refuse to carry.

I had a problem shipping beer in the States as it was alcohol, so I told them it was malt extract samples. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
