Hey, just wanted to introduce myself. Have been a member for a few weeks but until now have just been reading posts/articles etc. I don’t brew (yet) but I’ve been keen on craft beer for some time now, particularly Belgian ales and barley wines. If I were pushed to name favourites I would opt for Rochefort 8 and 10, Thomas Hardy’s or Liefmans Goudenband. Closer to home I think Porterhouse Celebration is a great beer (though I’m not often in Dublin so I haven’t had any other Porterhouse beers) and I like the Biddy Early and Carlow stuff quite a lot too. I do most of my buying at the Abbot Ale House. I think the site is great, and will hopefully contribute to the future of the Irish Craft beer movement. Cheers guys.
